The key to your car is fine, you don't need the one from a donor vehicle. But what you do need is some diagnostic equipment to flash the new ECM to the vehicle. The hardware and software is hundreds of dollars and requires special training. The new ECM has to be the right model and part number for your vehicle to make it work. Have the car towed to a local garage that can help.
