changed fuses but still electrical malfunction?

Engine made no attempt to turn over.  Tried to jumpstart with no success.  Thought it
might be the fuses, so we changed the fuses.  And it started working, but had to turn for
several seconds before starting up.  Now we think that the fuses went bad, but that the
computer is mental.  Any ideas?

I had the same issue. Fuse #8 shows as a 20amp fuse... I use a 30amp, just because I'm like that. I would check the relays also... the 3 that are in line with each other are on fuse #8, 1 is transmission relay, 1 is fuel relay and the other is starter relay. as for the computer being mental... there are several reasons the computer would say "yea... um.. NO". There are several control modules in the sebring any one of them could be screwing with the ECU. My first suggestion tho would be the fuses then the relays... then if there's still an issue seek a mechanic or get some C4.
