Thank you- I just replaced the cylinder housing and the Key cylinder with another one from another car after doing so I connected the battery to try it out, The starter cranked over but the car seamed to be starving for gas, after 3 attempts the starter stopped all together... I disconnected the battery again for 30 seconds, The starter would work in the same manner -- after 3 attempts to start the starter would not respond, acting as if it was dead. I was finally able to remove from the original housing the old key and cylinder by taking the steps in the photo
