having problem with key at times I have to crank the steering wheel to finally it will start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Key will not go to start position all the time however If I crank the steering well
from side to side then it seems to engage the lock system and finally will release so
that it will go to start position ???

I have had this from time to time.. Has to do with locking mechanism on steering column. Go to Crossfireforum.org for more info
