Over heating of our Special edition Chrysler 300 M series 2004

Asked by Age2Age Jul 14, 2016 at 11:02 PM about the 2004 Chrysler 300M Special FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Our , Chrysler keeps over heating and the mechanic, is scratching his head on this one.
He's changed the thermostat, radiator cap, the water pump and radiator are just a year old and
so was the thermostat.
We do see it leaking antifreeze but from the passage side.
Any other suggestions or are we going to have to retire the beast?

Begin by isolating the leak on the passenger side. Confirm the block , cylinder head, and head gasket has not been cracked or destroyed.

There is a metal coolant line that runs under the intake, have seen em rust and develop small holes where coolant escapes as steam and may or may not leave an obvious puddle...
