Car wont start

Replaced original starter  car was trying to start
now car does nothing dash doesn't light up no
radio no horn no headlights 05 Chrysler Sebring

Battery is dead. Possible the starter red hot wire to batt hooked wrong? Or any of those wires at starter. But check batt for 12.6 volts w/$5.00 Multimeter. Charge if low, or buy new, Did you try to jump it? Let us know. Good luck!
