Replace Passenger side view mirror glass

I had someone break my side view mirror on the passenger side, the dealer wants to
much to replace. The only part that is broken is the glass, I brought an oem replacement
but I am not sure how to remove the broken mirror, any help is appreciated

Are you only doing the glass, or the whole unit? If its the whole unit you may be able to get at the attaching bolt/screws by popping off the inside cover/bezel. If got just mirror, just stick it on over the old one with a real good double sided tape. 3M

depends if you just got the glass, or the glass and plastic backing. The backing snaps off of the motor assembly from the top (just gently pull it out) and the new assembly snaps back in (on most OEM power mirrors)
