Asked by Chadrobinson Feb 25, 2019 at 09:19 PM about the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have been having emissions problems but it had been
running good and we put on new alternator and it ran alot

You'll have to investigate if the problem is with the intake/injectors or with the exhaust. Plugged catalytic converters or a bad EGR can result in bogged performance. I'd start with checking for any OBD codes, then clean throttle body, MAP, sensors, checking injectors and fuel pressure, O2 sensors, PCV, EGR, and cats. Sometimes plugged cats can make it appear the EGR is bad.
