Car wont start

I hit a huge pool of water and my car died wouldn't start towed it home pull the
plugs turned over some water came out but now it won't crank at all just
makes clicking sound

If you can get it to turn over un a compression test on it. My guess would be a bent connecting rod or a broken piston.
