Where is the AC Condenser located in Mom's 2005 300? She lost cooling and when I turn the unit on while the engine is running I can lift the hood and hear a noise...a struggling type noise.

Thanks Jim. I did take it to a really good mechanic who only charged me $50 cash to check it out. It was a bit low in refrigerant and he suspects the bearing are wearing out in the compressor. He gased it up for me also.

I am an experienced remodelor but very limited in automotive knowledge. Never liked grease under my finger nails. LOL I did join a Chrysler 300 group on the Net should I have further concerns. My wife has a 98 VW and a site I joined for VW's has been very helpful.
