White smoke on startup and high fuel consumption

Asked by Helmet69 Apr 21, 2016 at 09:05 PM about the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1 Answer

White smoke usually indicates head gasket and that smoke coming from antifreeze getting into combustion chamber and flowing out exhaust SURPRISED THAT IT'S ONLY ON COLD START? GASKET COULD HEAT UP AND EXPAND STOPPING THE LEAK BUT I DOUBT IT.
