John, Your battery is not dead and it’s not the problem. The only fix I know is to grab the computer over the battery and move it around. Look for the interior light to come on and it will start. Next I pulled the three wires going into the computer up higher and pressed them in tight. Took off the pressure of them going in the three plugins. Then put a piece of small wood in front of the computer to push it forward just a little and keep it from moving, Other words, it is a wire short somewhere and moving in it’s perfect place will cure it. If it quits don’t call a wrecker and get all kinds of stupid answers from parts replacers and guessers and just move it forward a bit and watch for the interior light, start it up and go.

When the problem occurs get the error codes from the OBDII port below the dash with a scanner and upload that information to this web site so we can share back with you based on that information. The OBDII port is located below the steering wheel at the bottom of the dash. Safety inspection connects to this for your emissions test each year when you get your sticker. (The scanner/code reader only costs about $19.99 at a Walmart.)
