If the idle is very low the oil pressure would be low too. Your engine may need a tuneup or cleaning of the MAF. Is the check engine light on?
no check engine light nor has the low oil pressure light ever came on
pull your oil pressure sensor and see if the screen below the sensor is starting to stop up and may need changing
i have a 2011 silverado 5.3 with around 150k miles. oil pressure sits a little above 20 psi at idle and idle very rough. oil level is fine
