I have a Ford SVT Raptor. What Ford dealership has a certified SVT mechanic in the Ft Worth Texas area.

As a former Ford Service Manager myself I would recommend popping in and giving that dealership's Service Manager a little visit to discuss your concerns. He will make sure your truck get the treatment it deserves from then on. I assure you that's how it worked when I was in that position and Service Surveys and Blue Oval Certification were on the line.

I hate to say it but "certification" these days does not mean much unless the dealer really keeps a close eye on their mechanics. My new Subaru engine was RUINED by a certified mechanic who left loose bolts all over the engine and did other incredibly shoddy work. Even the shop foreman with 20+ years on Subaru messed up the engine and I think it was all from a culture of sloppiness at that Subaru dealer. I had to go to another dealer to get an entire new engine installed.

The moral of the story is to find a dealer or mechanic you trust. Bad service is an indicator that the wrenches are rushed or don't give a damn.

It's hard to find a reliable and honest shoos anymore but they're out there. Make sure the service manager is awared otherwise they'll never correct the problem and find a different shop unless u feel comfortable with manager's response. This time was only the filter, it could've been safety related like a loose wheel
