Why would 2011 Outlander Sport with dealer-installed remote start suddenly appear totally dead (no power at all) upon trying to start?

The vehicle had an after-market remote start installed by the dealer last
December along with a new battery. In August, I went to start the car and
there was no power - door locks, radio, lights, wipers, nothing (The light on
the start button may have been on.)!  I charged it for 30 minutes and tried
again. (The charger indicated the battery was at 1% before, during, and after
charging.) Still no power. Disconnected the negative battery terminal,
charged it for 20 minutes, reconnected the terminal, and vehicle started right
up and ran fine, with power to everything. Hooked up the charger again and
it indicated the battery was at 95%. I left the charger on until the charger
indicated 100%.   Brought it to the dealer and they found a slight parasitic
draw on the battery and replaced a component in the remote starting system
as well as reprogrammed the remotes. It is now November and the same
thing has happened and was temporarily solved via the same procedure
(disconnecting the battery terminal, charging for a short time, reconnecting
the terminal, finding the battery to be nearly fully charged. I have a feeling
that had I simply disconnected the battery terminal and then reconnected it,
things would have been fine without charging but unfortunately, I didn't do
that. I suspect the remote starter may not be getting along with the anti-theft
mechanisms in the vehicle since it seems that a “lock-out” situation is
occurring that is "reset" when the battery terminal is disconnected and
reconnected. Can anybody offer any insight into what the problem might be?
The vehicle is at the dealer again and we are all stumped.
