Keys wont unlock 2011 Subaru Forester

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I misplaced my fob 2 days ago (fell of my key
chain, I think it is in my house or office). Anyway,
yesterday I used the key to lock and unlock. Last
night when I got home, I locked from the inside
driver's door so all doors would lock. This morning
(still have not found the fob), neither my regular or
valet key will turn to unlock the door.

Try putting a new battery in the fob. Is the lock frozen?

The fob had fallen off my keychain 2 days ago so it was lost which was why I was using the keys I ended up pulling the key out just a little and turning and jiggling it back and forth and it finally worked, setting hea alarm off as it should. Then I found the fob on my floormat :-)
