Car has no power

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1 Answer

Connect an inexpensive OBD-II scanner to the diagnostic port (not three feet from the ignition switch) it will give you some trouble codes...Engine light is ON or not ON? just the same you can read, then RESET the codes...it will probably tell us that the TPS is bad or the EGR is clobberd up...but will NOT let us know that the fuel pressure regulator has a control vacuum hose that's fallen off...check the fuel pressure regulator...may not be allowing any fuel pressure through that~
