I just got this Nissan last week. I am going to take it in to the dealer this week and have it checked out but I was wondering if anyone else had this happen to them. It would help me to know what I am talking about when I talk to the "professionals". The rear end is making a bumping/rattling sound when I slow down and when I go over an uneven surface. You can actually feel the bumping through the car as well as hear it. It just started doing it yesterday and like I said I have only had it a week.  I traded in my 2004 Armada for this one and was loving how quiet it was. My 2004 Armada rattled and squeaked all over the place. I don't want to have that happen again. Thanks for your input.

Check spare tire and exhaust hardware. Also check jack and lug wrench, sometimes they aren't secure and can rattle if they are located in the rear side walls of the cargo area.

I've an 2010 same problem, sounds like cross member is loose or skid plate

My 2011 armada was rattling over ever bump. It was an interior noise that drove me nuts. I thought for sure it was coming from one of the seats. I tried to find the sound from every possible connection for the seats, then one day I smacked up on the upper roof outer casing where the DVD screen pops down and I actually heard it click into place and my ride has been silent since. Thank goodness, because it was really driving me nuts. It was from shabby dealer work after I had my sunroof fixed they didn't QC the work very well. I should of known because they also broke my rear center console cup holder. Bradenton dealership not doing so good since new owners took over.
