What causes my battery fusable link to keep blowing in 2011 Nissan Altima

Direct short in the main feed. Try electrically disconnect the alternator and see if the link blows again, if it doesn’t then the alternator is shorted and needs replaced. If it does then it’s time to dig out the shop manual and start circuit tracing.
