Please start up relay for Cadillac unharness does it have to be the same number

I bought a start-up relay for a 94 Cadillac Seville now does it have to be the
same number and does it have to be the same size it's just that I got one off
RockAuto and it seems a bit smaller than the one that I had in the car and this
isn't a very important question do I need to have the same model the same size
to have the same capacity thanks

It probably won't be the same part number. It's the internal circuitry of the relay that matters. Visit your local auto parts store and compare what they have to what Rockauto.com sent you. If the auto parts store relay looks like the original relay use that one and return the Rockauto.com relay. Is this the anti theft relay? Is your Passkey Fault light on continuously? If so it's not the relay. Hope that helps! Jim
