RPM METER IS NOT FIXED

5 Answers

...you know I was fed up with trying to get my tachometer (that's what it's called) to work, and it clobbered up my dash, and made it look all kentucky chuckie, so I took it off and threw it away. Number one, I know what 850 rpms sounds like, I'd past that test. No.2 I Never have a need to 'tach it up' cause you don't really need it.....don't really need it!

Go to the parts store and get the codes read. When you get your trouble codes read, ask them to check the RPM output of the ECU. If that output is steady, your gauge is bad.

performance is good, and NOT a reflection of your tach, so I'm with tenspeed on this, bad unit...and need to go where units who have been bad usually go...the garbage bin!
