When having the maintenace done do you really need the added conditioner and extras they reccomend at certain mileage points or is the regular servie adiquate?

Do you need all the added extra's(Oil conditioner, etc..) when having the maintenance performed or is the normal service fine.

Sorry, the dealer recommended at the 90,000 service in addition to the regular maintenance I add some oil conditioner's and other "special" additives which would cost about 3x's the normal service. I have been told in the past that this is something they recommend to make money. Just checking to see what others think.

Probably a total waste of money. Unless they can show you that Toyota recommends it - in writing! 90k is nothing for a Toyota - I went over 300k on mine and I never added anything at all - just changed oil.
