what are good tires for a land cruiser?  I had Michelin Latitude tires on my Land Cruiser and they have to be replaced after 40K miles.  Is there something better out there?

thanks for info. very helpful. i have been pretty loyal to Michelin but was just surprised that the tires did not make 40K. not any off roading done on them. mostly highway and driving kids around town. but my mechanic said that driving around town kills the tire more then anything

the tires are rated for 50K but i am barely making it to 40K with them

Michelin MX Mud/Snow 160000 Mi and that's all I've had and nothing has stopped her yet !!

On our second set of Michelin LTX M/S P275/70 R16 114S. Got about 70k on first set, at 67k on this set and it's time now to replace. No longer make the 114S per Michelin so not sure if the 114H will perform as well.
