1995 Eldorado ETC 45k miles intermittent rough running.

Asked by GuruH4J4F Dec 18, 2019 at 06:32 PM about the 1995 Cadillac Eldorado Touring Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have changed the coils, Injectors, plug, wires, Coil interface module, and EGR
valve. But the rough running goes and comes at will. Sometime the car runs
great for a day then it goes back to the same symptoms of running rough.

After much expense in parts and mechanics with no solution in sight, I decided to just drive the car until the wheels came off or the engine died. Well, after two weeks of driving with the engine running rough, the car seemed to have fixed itself and the rough running seems to be gone. The car has been running good now for two weeks. I guess it was probably debris in the gas, or maybe the fuel pump. Any comments are welcome as to what possibly happened, or if my assumption could be right.
