sounds like a bad lock actuator. which door makes the noise ? that will be the one with the issue.

The door doesn't make noise. The display always shows the drivers door as open when this happens and it's not open.

I would go to the drivers door lock actuator.

I'm having problems with door locks. Locking and unlocking while driving. Took care in recently because locks were making funny noise. Honda told me it was the driver side actuator so replaced it. Still making same noise so they said it was a bad actuator and replaced the one they just put in. NOW car locking and unlocking while driving! What's going on? Can all four actuators be going out at same time? Someone please help me. Very expensive. Thank you

Find the door making noise and replace the actuator, not unusual to see more than one fail.

Lock actuators aren’t expensive if you do your own. I’ve replaced them in all of our Honda’s at least once and I’m a 45 year old woman lol. It’s straightforward enough but I end up needing to use my phone to see in those back recesses of the door panel... I suppose if it’s the driver side door that would explain why all the doors lock and unlock. Still that’s strange... usually when they go out they just gradually stop locking via remote and I have to use the key to lock the door. My 06 is doing this... drives me nuts to drive it but the lights are also flickering really bad so maybe there’s something else going on.

This exact thing is happening to my 2016 Honda Odyssey. Which makes it difficult to drive at night. Did you beve find the answer?
