If you're paying cash, and have had all your questions about the car satisfactorily answered, and the carfax looks good and the dealer has a good reputation, you should place a deposit to prevent it from going to someone else. I sell cars to people all over the world, so if you find the car you want, fly up and drive it back - it's less expensive than having it shipped. Good luck!
