When I push NAV button I get "MAP DVD Read
error" any suggestions?

Pull the map DVD out and check to see if it is clean. If it is very dirty clean it and reinsert it. Do a "google" search for how to properly clean a DVD. If that doesn't fix it there is likely an issue with the NAV system requiring repair.
