It is just a fuse and it worked perfect for my 2011
Mercedes e350 . I can't say what fuse it is for your
car but for mine it was the fuse box under the hood
by the master cylinder and it was the 20 amp fuse
the row on the left about the fourth fuse up starting
from the front of the car
