What does CarGurus do when a dealer misrepresents a car's trim so they can get a better value rating?

Asked by David Dec 27, 2014 at 08:57 PM about the 2011 Ford Expedition King Ranch

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

This SUV is clearly not a King Ranch. It appears from the interior to be a standard XLT which list for several thousand dollars less. This dealer from the comments I read is committing fraud by misrepresenting the product..

I have only seen a couple of King Ranch series but they have the King Ranch logo medalian on the fender and tailgate. If it has this, check the VIN for a full readout of what comes on the vehicle. You may have to go to the Ford dealer to get this printout. That will tell you if it is a true King Ranch.
