Asked by chrisc10615 May 21, 2016 at 02:30 PM about the 1998 Cadillac DeVille Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I would like to know the what and where I can get
a rear suspension conversion kit for a 1998
Cadillac Deville,  from air ride to load assist.
Looked at a couple of websites, prices are all over
the map. Need to know exactly what I need, don't
want to purchase the wrong item.

Unless the car is a beater you might want to consider repairing the original design OEM stock suspension, IF its beat or rotted out it doesn't matter. Expect to pay about $300-400 for the Airspring struts or a conversion "KIT" is approx $300-400 springs and a shock instead of air. Check a Cadillac forum lots of info on this.
