The ignition switch may have an internal spring which, when released, causes it to snap back to the run position. Look at a new switch at the parts store. Turn the new switch to the start position and release. If it springs back then you know where the problem is.
When I start the truck the key does not come back . We replaced the starter and that's not the problem. What could it be ?
