1999 cadillac deville running hot

My 99 cadillac is running hot. Car is in mint
condition. No rust 84.000 miles on it. 1
mechanic told me 3500 gasket. But it
doesn't leak oil. 232 degrees. I persnally
think its not the gasket. It wont give heat.
Looking for some suggestion.
