I have a 2000 cadillac deville dhs and i thought the ecm was bad and took the
computer out of the car come to find out that wasnt the problem. My question is
do i have to get the same computer flashed again or reprogrammed since i took
it out of the car or can i just hook it back up?

I think you can put it right back in and it will run. It may run poorly for a few drive cycles until it "relearns it's idle speed, shift points, etcetera. Disconnect the battery while installing and avoid static sparks from tools, clothes and fingers. Computers don't like voltage surges.
