2001 Cadillac DeVille - have to turn the key 20-30 times before it starts

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had the engine grounds cleaned and replaced the PCM
It doesn't matter which one of the 3 keys we use, it won't start right away
It's gotten to the point where it pretty much does it all the time and the
dealership has no clue what the problem could be

This may seem like a dumb question, but has anyone checked the ignition switch?

I agree. If all of your keys act the same - look at the switch.
