metallic clicking sound heard when breaking

I hear very often a metallic clicking sound  when breaking, sometimes one
sound and sometimes even two metallic clicking short sounds

If your brake pads are nearly worn, it could be them shifting in the caliper. To be sure would need to pin point exactly where the noise is coming from.
