changing the oil

Asked by GuruTPHVH Jul 13, 2018 at 08:05 AM about the 2011 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I was interested in buying a 2011 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited. I got the car
fax and noticed they only have record of changing the oil once at 54,00 miles
and it now has 90,00 miles on it. When I drove it to test drive, when I turned it
off, the metal on car had noise like it would when hot. Is this an indication of
engine damage?
