Noise and performance with my 2011 Outback

Asked by JBark Jan 06, 2012 at 01:31 PM about the 2011 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I purchased a new 2011 outback 4 cylinder in August. The engine/transmission
noise has worsened over the last couple of months, particularly when I'm driving at
low speeds. There is also a high pitched humming when the air is on...i've had the
car serviced where they told me the reset the computer, but nothing seems to have
changed. The car simply does not run and/or sound like a new car should. What can
I do?
