COOLANT LEVEAL INDICATOR LOCATION

Asked by ddjunkmail Dec 10, 2011 at 01:57 PM about the 2003 Cadillac DeVille DHS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2003 Deville Northstar engine; lately "check engine coolant level" indicator has been coming on.  Plenty of fluid in recovery tank.  Where is this sensor located so I can check or replace?

Thanks

Like any sensore they go bad. he sensor is located below the throttle block behind it closer4 to the firewall. It is below the EGR valve. You can get to it but it is a stretch. It is replaceable without going to the shop but it will cost about 100 and some antifreeze. Also need to reset your codes after replacement.
