Ford escape subframe

Hi, so the dealer I bought my 2011 Escape from
three years ago is telling me that the subframe is
rotten to the point where it's unsafe to drive.. I
just looked at it... And I don't think they're telling
me the truth.. I took a picture of it.. can you look
at the picture and give me your opinion?

It is rotting but you could have a professional welder cut the bad rust out and weld a plate on it to strengthen it. But you have to do it soon! Otherwise you will need a new subframe!

Time to replace it. Get a price from an independent shop.
