Question type: General

We just bought 2011 escape xlt with 144k, had 1
owner. I wasn't there when my husband test drove
it but I couldnt stand with the noise inside? I asked
my husband if it's engine tapping noise and he
said it's not. Is it normal to be this noisy?  And im
wondering if it's worth of buying this car since it's
5 yrs old with 144k......I saw a lot of transmission
problems..
