Around 2006, BMW started removing dipsticks. The oil level is now checked via a few sensors and the level is displayed on the info screen, not manually. You can access the level through the Idrive system. I know the vehicle has to fully warm up and be driven to get an accurate reading. Read the owners manual under which menu you can find it.
