The remote doesn't lock the car anymore but it opens as usual with the unlock button on the remote after it is locked with the key. This happened after I cleaned the car and the leather. What might be the cause?

I got the same problem. I programmed the key fob. Then lock the car by key and followed by unlocking using the key fob. Finally, it works perfectly
