My 2003 bmw 525i manual transmission will start but not move when in gear

So you put it in first gear and let out the clutch and the vehicle doesn't move forward? If thats the case then your clutch is most likely the problem is it does that in reverse and 2nd. If it moves in 2nd or reverse then the transmission in the issue.
