Battery is flat on series 5 touring 1998 can't open drivers door by holdling flap on door up and using key. Unable to get to front of car to release bonnet by hooking cable .where is pos post on chass

The battery is in the trunk, not under the hood. If you can't open the trunk, you can access it if you have folding rear seats.
