Can a 1992 BMW 525i engine fit into a 1991 BMW 525i? I was told that the motor mounts are the same.

I have a 525i with a cracked head. I want to replace the engine. A mechanic told me I can use a 1992
engine, because the motor mounts are the same. Is it true?

both cars Fall under the E34 designation, so the Swap shouldn't be too complicated.
