Need of 2&3 opinions

Hello I have a 2004 BMW 320 5I and it has been making
weird sounds as if something is loose or floating around
under the car...the noise comes from the back passenger
side... I had a mechanic take a look at my car and he said
it could be the gears inside the pumpkin cover.. but he's
not all the way sure.can you all help me?

when does it happen , going slow , fast , in corners ? have you looked under there ? Have you tried turning up the radio ?
