BMW coolant warning light

Hi guys for the last 3 or 4 days the coolant warning
light has come on in my car in the mornings in
orange but then disappears after a couple of kms.
Could this mean a faulty light or that it needs
coolant.

It means to check the coolant level. Probably just have to add some coolant into the coolant reservoir, just up to the mark, do not over fill.
