I have a BMW 2002 330 XI and it overheated after I took it to the dealer I change the thermostat and put water in it but it's still overheated when I drove it for 15 minutes it makes a little quickisound and it throws white smoke I wonder if the engine or the head gasket is blown

You seen white smoke,it wasn,t white smoke,It was humidity coming threw your exhaust,from head gasket or cracked head loosing water.

Why would you drive it when you knew the engine was hot? that is some super-expensive BMW iron that you were destroying- if you are lucky it is just a head gasket- but you are still looking at thousands of $$- next time just park the car and take a little walk-
