when engine gets up to speed of 34 car jerks - what is the problem

whats taking so long to get a response? Surely this has happened to other Cadillac STS owners! Hey is there anybody out there?

could be a slipping clutch pack or low X-mission fluid.. not sure. also could be ecm? does it idle smooth?
