how do i repair it?

my 2000 323I BMW starts but it has a choking problem, it doesnt maintain the RPM
really good and when i accelerate i have to step on it hard because for it to run.
the i took it to an electrician y he was checking some sensors and now i doesnt start. i
has a light that says "inspect"
what can i do?
